Onions, thinly sliced
Leeks, thinly sliced
Stewing Beef, fnely cubed

Worcestershire sauce

Method
Heat the oil in a large pot. (10litre).
Fry the onions and leeks until soft and browned.
Add the beef and fry until lightly browned.
Add half the water (4litre).
Cover and simmer for +- 10-15 minutes, stir frequently.
Add the worcestershire sauce, tomato paste and the remaining water.
Cover the pot and cook for +- 40-45 minutes, or until the meat is cooked soft.
Add the BEEF & COUNTRY VEGETABLE SOUP sachet into the soup mixture.
Simmer uncovered until thickened. |
